How to Access Military Cultural Competence Course for Free

Please note: these instructions and this website are intended for individual users who are not affiliated with one of Essential Learning's member organizations. If you normally complete your online training by logging on to http://www.essentiallearning.net/student, you should return to that site and log on as you would for any other online training; these courses are already in your site. Log in information from the main Essential Learning website will not work at CEQuick.

This page is for informational purposes only. To select your course, you must close this window and return to the main CEQuick page. If you have previously registered for a course at CEQuick, please login before following the instructions below.

1. From the "Select an Accreditation" dropdown menu on the left-hand side of the landing page, choose the certificate that best suits your accreditation needs. If you do not need a specific certificate, please select "Generic Completion" from the accreditation dropdown.
   
   The Military Cultural Competence course carries the following accreditations: ANCC, APA, ASWB, NAADAC, NBCC, Alabama - SW, CAADAC, CAADE, CBBS, CBRN, DC-RN, Florida, Florida A&D, Florida RN, Illinois - PC, Illinois - SW & MFT, Louisiana ADRA, NJ - MFT, Ohio - MFT, Ohio - PC, Ohio - SW, Texas - PC and Texas - SW & MFT

2. Select "Promotional Courses" from the subject dropdown to narrow your course selection to the promotional course offerings only. You may also select "All Subjects" if you wish to enroll in other courses for purchase.
   
   
3. Click the "NEXT" button to view courses.
   
   
4. You will be taken to a screen allowing you to select a course. Check the box(es) next to the courses you would like to take. Click "Add Courses to Cart and Checkout".
   
   
5. The next page shows the list of courses you selected. Enter the promotional code "VET08" (without quotation marks) in the discount box and click "Apply Discount."
   
   
6. Click the "Checkout" button.
   
   
7. You will be taken to a registration screen where you will input your email address and a password of your choosing (these will be used for logging on to the system once registration is complete). You will also need to fill out some licensure information which will be necessary for printing your certificate when you have finished taking the course. If this information is not applicable to your licensure area, please enter "N/A" or "NA" in these fields.
   
   
8. If you have selected courses for purchase in addition to the free Military Cultural Competence course, you will be taken to a new screen where you can input your billing information. Please make sure that the address you enter here matches the billing address for the card you are using.
   
   
9. The CEQuick site uses popups for the login and course functions. Please set your popup blocker to permit popups throughout the site. If you do not know how to set your permissions on your blocker, you may hold down the CTRL key while clicking on the login and course functions in order to override your blocker.
   
   
10. Please note that CEQuick courses are taken entirely online. You will review the course material, take the course test, and generate your CE certificate over your internet connection. We do not ship any materials. Although you can print out individual pages from the course, we do not have an option for printing the entire course content through a single function. CEQuick courses are intended to take full advantage of the opportunities available in an e-learning environment.
