Accreditation Information

Courses in our catalog may be viewed by Accreditation category and a course may be eligible for accreditation by a variety of organizations. The abbreviations that are used in our View Courses by Accreditation list are provided below with the name of the organization or state agency that the abbreviation refers to. Essential Learning is the provider for all state and local accreditations listed below. The CEQuick website is a service of Essential Learning. Please keep in mind that continuing education requirements for clinical professionals vary from state to state. Many state-level boards grant reciprocity with national accrediting organizations and other state boards. The best way to find out if a state licensing board has reciprocity with one of the national accrediting organizations or other state boards is to visit their web site or call them directly.

Although a majority of state licensure boards and national accrediting organizations accept online courses and home study programs for continuing education credit, some do not. Others may place a limit on the number of CE hours a practitioner can earn online or via home study. Please check with your state board and/or professional organization as it is your responsibility to be familiar with its policies on reciprocity and online/home study accreditation prior to enrollment.

Course materials may be printed out and read to visually impaired participants. Some courses are audio accompanied. Please contact Essential Learning Support to inquire about available accommodations. Many Essential Learning courses are 508 compliant.

**Essential Learning reserves the right to archive out of date courses at any time. This process removes accreditations from the course(s).
